Acorns is committed to safeguarding children, young people, their families, our staff and volunteers.

We work with children, parents and the community to ensure the rights and safety of children giving them the very best start in life.  Everyone in the group has a responsibility for to protect children.

  • We are committed to safeguarding the children in our care and to providing a safe environment in which the children can play, learn and develop.
  • We understand that everyone in the group has a responsibility to keep children safe and protect them from harm.
  • We recognise the rights of children to be protected from harm, treated with respect, listened to and have their views taken into consideration in matters that affect them.
  • Management, staff, volunteers and students recognise that the welfare of children is paramount, and will endeavor to safeguard all children.
